In some cases when connecting your corporate accounts, Facebook doesn’t show the options Edit settings to select the business accounts you want to (re)connect. In this article, you learn what to do when this situation occurs.
Instead of being able to choose between Edit settings and Continue, you’re only able to choose between Cancel and Continue.
Please note: This mostly happens when reconnecting your business accounts.
In this situation, it’s not possible to choose which business accounts you want to (re)connect. To resolve this, we advise resetting the Facebook business integrations settings and disconnecting the integration from your Facebook account. This is how you reset the integration.
Reset the business integrations settings
First, click Learn more about this sharing and the settings that you have.
You will now be redirected to the following pop-up.
Click Business Integrations, and you will be redirected to your Facebook account's business integrations settings.
Click Remove to reset your integration. In the following pop-up, you click remove as well.
When removing us from your integrations settings in Facebook, you reset the integration. When following the instructions again in the article connecting your corporate accounts, you restore the integration and connect your business accounts properly.
Please note: Even if the integration has been disconnected for a while, your planned posts for business accounts will be shared when reconnecting your business accounts within a week's notice. So don’t worry about your previously planned or suggested posts. They will still be posted on your corporate accounts.
