Getting a notification immediately for a business page post that’s scheduled in the future? That’s actually how it’s supposed to work. The timing works differently for personal and business pages in Apostle. Here’s what you need to know about the key differences:
Personal page
You receive a notification when it’s time to share
You choose the channel to post to
The post goes live immediately after sharing
Note: If you schedule a post for next Monday, ambassadors will get the notification on Monday. If you use a Date range, notifications will be spread out within that window.
Business page
You receive a notification immediately, even if the post is scheduled for later
You approve or reject the suggestion
The post goes live at the scheduled date and time, which is clearly shown above the suggestion
💡 Tips:
This system lets you pre-approve content in advance. Going on vacation? You can still have posts go out without lifting a finger once you’re offline.
Want to skip manual approvals altogether? Use the Auto Approve setting to publish all business page posts automatically.
